The cable car, which goes to the beautiful Fiescheralp, is only a few minutes' walk away. Hotel Schmitta features comfortable rooms and apartments, and is well known for its great cuisine. The traditional fondues are especially popular. Fiesch and its surroundings offer a wide range of signposted hiking and mountain bike trails. In winter there are ideal conditions for skiing, snowboarding, winter hiking, and cross-country skiing.
