Growing malting barley for the Guinness Brewery, this working farm is set in idyllic surroundings just off a quiet country road, offering fresh home baking and beautiful gardens. Rosslare and its ferry port are 20 minutes’ drive away, and early breakfasts are available. The downstairs guest lounge features Sky TV and offers home baking all day. Hearty farmhouse breakfasts are served every morning, made with local ingredients including butcher’s bacon and sausages, free-range organic eggs, and homemade brown bread. The pretty fishing village of Kilmore Quay is just 5 minutes’ drive away, home to excellent seafood and thatched cottages. Its Blue Flag-awarded marina also offers boat trips to the Saltee Islands. Both Wexford and Rosslare town can be reached in 20 minutes by car.
