Boasting an own winery, Gästehaus Schmelz is located in the centre of Weißenkirchen in the Wachau region. It offers rooms, apartments and free WiFi. All units have parquet flooring, a private bathroom, a refrigerator, tea/coffee making facilities and a TV. The owners also produce their own schnapps and run a typical Heurigen tavern. Each day a freshly prepared breakfast including homemade products is served on site. You can sunbathe in the garden. Bike rental is available on site. Restaurants can be found in the immediate surroundings and a supermarket is a 5-minute walk away. Also the banks of the Danube River can be reached on foot in 5 minutes. The historic town of Dürnstein is 5 km away and the Melk Abbey is 18 km away from the Gästehaus Schmelz.
