Palacio del Infantado (Palace of the Infante)
One of the most important Spanish palaces. Its construction began in 1480 under the direction of Juan Guas. Inside you will find the Patio de los Leones, while its striking façade is a fine example of Gothic-Mudejar work.

Alcázar Real (Royal Fortress)
Built between the 12^th and 13^th centuries, was the residence of the Castilian kings from the 13^th century until the 15^th century. It was partially destroyed during the Civil War.

Palacio de la Cotilla y Salón Chino (Palace of la Cotilla and the Chinese Room)
It goes back to the 17^th century and contains a room decorated in the style of the Qing dynasty, a unique piece in Spain.

Torreón de Alvar Fáñez
One of the emblematic monuments of Guadalajara. It is a tower from the Arabic era, called after the name of the knight, friend and companion of El Cid, the Spanish Medieval hero. Nowadays, and after a careful restoration, hosts an exhibition about the origins of Guadalajara's coat of arms and the legend of Alvar Fáñez.

Iglesia Concatedral de Santa María de la Fuente (Concathedral Church of St. Mary of the Fountain)
Mudejar church built during the 14^th century, over a mosque. The tower is covered with bricks, and the main highlight inside is the altarpiece of Francisco Mir, in classicistic mannerist style. Also inside you will find the museum, displaying pieces from the sacred art.

Capilla de Luis de Lucena (Chapel of Luis de Lucena)
Built in1540, this is the only remnant of the Parish Church of San Miguel del Monte, Romanesque-Mudejar style.

Museo Provincial de Guadalajara (Provincial Museum of Guadalajara)
It's located inside the Palacio del Infantado and it is divided into three sections: Fine Arts, Ethnography and Archeology. The collection exhibits paintings of the Hispanic Flamenco School.

Museo Exposición Permanente Maquinas Antiguas del Tyce de Guadalajara (Museum Permanent Exhibition of Old Machines of the Tyce of Guadalajara)
This museum contains old industrial machines and machinery. It was here where the army produced the small pieces during one century and a half. The exhibition displays old material from the 19^th century originated in the forge of the ElectroTechnic Institute of Engineers.

Sacred Art Museum inside a funerary temple built in the 19^th century. The museum contains marbles and mosaics.
