-My opinion about this hotel Le Meridien New DelhiAJAY KUMAR - Jan 8, 2015
very good location- close to all prominent monuments like India Gate, Parliament,President House, Connaught Place and greener part of New Delhi. The room was adequate for two of us and had full height window overlooking the eastern part of city. The hotel lobby looks dated but the restaurants and atrium are great and hotel happens to have shopping mall like transparent lifts..Buffet breakfast was fantastic... On the downside access to hotel porch is very narrow and bendy with car parks on one of the lanes --recipe for accident.. and the hotel doesn\'t provide/have free wifi / internet connection.. not even in the lobby..

The location is really good. The room comfort and amenities are good. But I have asked for a kingsize bed and was given a queensize bed. (though beeing a SPG member) I have also asked for a quiet room and was given a room next to which they were having some works of renovation starting from the morning 10:30 am and finishing 8:30 pm which was a bit irritating. I did not think in asking for a bathtube as I never had before a 5 stars hotel offering rooms with only shower. The bathroom was very small for a 5* hotel.
As for the swimming pool just avoid from it. There is no service at all .. 4 beds are there. it is a swmimming pool for pigeons and not for the clients. It is really dirty. The staff start cleaning the pool once they see the client lying on the beds and do not mind to disturb you by making noise or by making you sitting in a pound of water which suddenly surounds your bed... The breakfast is quite good. The wrong point of it is that at the pic hours it looks like more a cantine than a cosy 5 stars place where you could be pampered and taken care off.
This hotel pretends to be a 5* hotel but should rather rank a 3*.
