The Royal Sands Koh Rong is a new all-villa resort, comprising of 67 units on Cambodia's second largest island. Resort opened its doors and welcomed its first guests on 23rd December 2017. The Royal Sands' design incorporates high-quality and sustainable materials including teak, bamboo and limestone, with open-air venues for enjoying unspoilt views of the Gulf of Thailand and our legendary sunsets. All villas offer outdoor ‘salas', while others feature beachfront views and their own personal pools.
Our 5-star village spans a 550-metre stretch of pristine, soft, white sandy beach which descends into crystal-clear turquoise water. This is a serene and luxurious escape for the soul.
As such, you will find no ATMs here, no fast-food chains and no shopping centres. What there is here is breathtakingly beautiful. The Royal Sands Koh Rong is located an hour by boat west of Sihanoukville in the Gulf of Thailand. A few airlines operate flights into Sihanoukville, from Siem Reap and other regional centres. The Royal Sands Koh Rong can arrange round-trip transfers for guests from the airport to the port and then onto the island itself, in its very own luxury ferry.
