Hotel Aquabella Hôtel & Spa

Right in the heart of old Aix-en-Provence, at the foot of the old city's medieval fortifications, and attached to the Sextius thermal baths, the 4* hotel Aquabella is a modern building offering 112 non smoking rooms, all decorated in Provencal style with air conditioning, mini bar, satellite television and views of the garden or the old city. To finish a day of sightseeing and shopping, guests are invited to sample Mediterranean cuisine and wines in the 'Orangerie' restaurant where head chefs offer a sun-filled cuisine using the fresh and natural products from Provence to the full.
For the wellness and serenity of our Spa customers, only children aged 16 and over are accepted in our establishment from easter weekend to 31st of August.

Sensory Spa :

The heated outside swimming pool is open from May to September depending on the weather.
Access to the facilities (spa, fitness room, outdoor pool in season) is not possible before the arrival time (3pm) and after the departure time (12pm).

    My opinion about this hotel

    I was on a business trip for one night. The room was Ok, free internet (not very fast but enough to read and send e-mail), clean, quiet. Parking at an extra 10$ per day is available 30 mts away from the hotel. Breakfast was also Ok, orange juice and pastries above average, fruits ham and eggs not so much.

    Aix is a wonderful place and the hotel is in a superb location for walking into the centre. There are lots of nice cafe's nearby but the hotel has a good restaurant also. There are plenty of shops for souvenirs and clothes. There are good links for transport. We took a taxi for a short ride to the bus station so we could get a very cheap bus ride (4.5 Euros per ticket) to Marseilles.None.Splendid stay. Very nice pool area and facilities. Excellent value for money. Staff very helpful and pleasant.Would visit again.
