What do guests think about this accommodation establishment?
The Avalon Hotel seems to have mixed reviews from guests. Some reviewers appreciate the convenient location near Gare du Nord station and the friendly staff, with special mention of Laura at the reception. The upgraded rooms are spacious and clean, although there are some issues with worn-out carpets and narrow hallways. Guests generally had a good night's sleep, except for occasional noise from footsteps and sirens. The area feels safe, even when walking late at night. On the downside, there were complaints about small rooms, lack of air conditioning, and some communication difficulties with non-English speaking staff. Overall, the hotel provides a satisfactory experience for those who prioritize location and value for money.
