Hotel Poseidon Athens

Great hotel, very clean, large rooms and the Breakfast was Amazing!!! Great value for the price we paid! Beach restaurant was really good and reasonably priced. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay here again!

This hotel is not a 4 stars hotel as is advertised on internet. Service far below 4 stars hotel standards. Staff rude and bad actitude. I'm really sorry to say but I would not reccomend this hotel to anyone. .

Only 20 minutes by tram to centre of Athens. Very close to beach.Pool was closed due to maintenance, although this was high season, should have been infirmed of this prior,.Excellent location to Athens via tram, also good bus link to airport, both stops close to hotel. Excellent beach location, with taverna.

Would be nice to see tea and coffee-making facilities in hotels in Greece (as in England and in many other countries) - it would complete the experience.Very pleasant and professional 'breakfast lady' (blond hair) who attended to all our needs - very impressed with her. All staff were very attentive. Lovely views from restaurant.

The hotel look old, renovated only partial, the smell in rooms in commoun areas and or lavatories is hard to suported. My personal experience was even bad with this hotel. Please don' t tried on yourself.: Even if we paid full half board, once arrived there we found that dinner consist in fixed courses (without any taste), that where served us under principle " take it or leave it" without any explanation. After 3 long discutions with receptionist and one of the managers next day, we obtained promision that we will can chose from the sual menu but as a"particular facility". Every evening for next 3 dinner we need to explain again and again to restaurant staff why we don't want to serve the fixed courses and to wait they confirme every night with their general manager our extraordinar facility (means the right to chose from 8 dinner courses that we could found in the Bar Menu). After Manager admited that we have right and promise us second time that all problems will be solved ,yet the staff of restaurant was instructed to try to change back our menu every remained evening. Anyhow the Sky Bar having a fabulos view over the sea, is always empty. They don't wonder themself Why?. Shorter: Very good location, huge posibilities for an excelent tourism but...VERY BAD MANAGED. Sorry but despite few good thinks, I will not recomand this hotel to anybody ! Except maybe you have a steel patiente. Even I use to travel much along the European Continent,yet fortunately was the first hotel where I met this atitude means military regim for tourists, but without any kind of rules for the hotel staff.Very good location, Surprising rich and good breakfast,Very nice View over the see from the roof pool.
