Hotel Eleftheria

The hotel is situated in the region of Agia Marina, a coastal area 8 km west of Chania. It was built on a hill, around 850 meters away from the sea. The advantageous site of the hotel on the hill, in a peaceful, natural environment, offers magnificent sea views as well as the opportunity to spend a quiet holiday in a friendly, family environment. It has 66 rooms spread across three buildings and features a breakfast/ dining room, a lounge equipped with satellite TV, a playground and parking lot. All of the rooms are equipped with an en suite bathroom, a telephone, a TV, a fridge, a radio, individual air conditioning and a balcony, offering views of either the coast or the surrounding gardens. Leisure facilities include a swimming pool as well as a children pool, pool bar, gym and sauna.

    The hotel is located in a very quiet area with a beautiful view of the mountain, but unfortunately, it is relatively far from the sea. However, since we did not want a beach holiday there, but rather a quiet accommodation as a starting point for other activities, it wasn't too bad. We had booked a triple room, which was quite cramped with three beds. The bathroom was relatively new, and the food was above average for a 3-star hotel.

    The hotel is very well located with a beautiful view of the sea from the room and the restaurant terrace. Everything was perfect, from the facilities to the staff. The meals in the form of an all-you-can-eat buffet are very good. The only downside is the dinner hours (the restaurant closes at 8:30 PM), which is a bit early, but they kindly offer to take orders and deliver to the hotel. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel.
