Hotel Star Beach Village & Water Park

The hotel is very nice, clean, the beach is large and beautiful, all inclusive is a very good choice, always variety, tasty, show cooking. I was afraid that the race cars next door will make a lot of nice and pollution, but they were virtually as no existing. Only my daughter got diarrhea last 2-3days with temperature, which I am not sure if it is due to a food poisoning, or maybe the children are touching the spoons from the counter at eating time with dirty fingers and that might be the problem. The hotel could change the serving spoons from time to time especially at children's section. The weather early April was a bit cold. Shampoos and conditioner could be given more often not only in the beginning of the stay, because we ended up buying shampoo and soap.

Very nice place very comfort for family's

The big BUT about this hotel is they also hosts music (foam) parties in its water park every couple of days. The afternoon events are suitable for kids & my family members including an 18 month old enjoyed a trip to one, having great fun. The night time affairs start at 6:30, go on till nearly MN & are distinctly more hard core (no free entry). The problem is they use the most enormous bass speakers I have ever seen & the "thump" can be felt, rather than heard in the Minos restaurant which coincidently opens at the same time. This I found very off putting while trying to enjoy the pleasant food on offer. A visit to the Asian restaurant (has to be booked) Was a very disappointing experience as its the only one that offers service at the table rather than buffet service. The food, although good, took forever to arrive.Star beach is a family oriented Hotel with friendly cheerful staff. The rooms are of a very good standard with safe, have tea making facilities, air conditioning & amazingly pervasive free wifi. The Minos restaurant is the larger dining facility serving a good selection of foods often based on a theme (Asian, Italian, European, etc). The Cretan restaurant near the sea front was my favourite & serves similar food to the Minos but has to be booked for night time meals (free access breakfast & lunchtimes). The Asian restaurant is only open night times. The kids facilities are excellent, superb playgrounds, mini pool & the animation team enthusiastic child frendly professionals ever eager to engage with both adults & children. In the water park attached to the Hotel guests get free access to water slides throughout their stay.

The music was too loud!.The kids loved it! It's got lots to do and a nice beach. Amazing value!.

Hotel and its facilities were perfect for our stay as a group of 4 girls. Staff were very lovely and approachable. Can't wait to come back!.
