Hotel Pausania Inn

Located just out of Pausania. Helpfull staff, comfortable room a tasty dinner in the evening after a day of travelling. Breakfast in the morning was also good with a lot of choice.

We were there for just one day, but the experience was more than positive. Very courteous and helpful staff. The environment is comfortable and the facility is located in a strategic position. Highly recommended!

The hotel is in a lovely location in the mountains about a 50 minute drive from Olbia airport and about a 40 minute drive to the nearest beach. The rooms on the whole are clean but there were some days when beds and towels were not changed. If you are lucky enough to have a balcony/terrace with a view then the room seems quite spacious and light. However, we did see into some rooms that had just a window and looked quite gloomy. It does have a pool which was very clean and there are plenty of loungers. There is also plenty of parking if you have hired a car. The food in the hotel is fine but not haute cuisine but when you are paying such a budget price for the hotel, you could not really expect more. The breakfast was slightly inconsistent - some days there were less options than others - and there is never any fruit which is a downside but again for a budget breakfast it does the job. We had dinner in the hotel on one occasion and it was very good. However, the bread was stale and had clearly been left over from breakfast. Tempio Pausania, the local village, has at least 3 good pizzerias and so you have plenty of options if you choose not to eat in the hotel. We would stress that a car is essential as the village would be a long trek and anywhere of interest is at least 40 minutes away. We would stay in this hotel again - mainly because it is value for money - particularly when you look at the cost of other hotels/resorts on the island.

Rather spartan rooms. Very small TV and lack of mini bar for example. It was often difficult to find someone manning the bar. .Friendly staff overall. .

very helpful, friendly positive staff. I was travelling for he first time with my 5 month old baby and they were very helpful towards the needs I requested for the baby. The room was very comfortable with everything that we needed and we thought the hotel guide in the room was extremely helpful and covered everything.
