Hotel Room Mate Aitana

Room Mate Aitana is located in the heart of Amsterdam, in a modern building on the new artificial island in the IJ River, next to the new Courthouse, Central Station and really close from Dam's Square, the “9 straatjes”in the Jordaan and the historic center of the city, and near the main tourist attractions like Anne Frank House and business centers of the capital.
All rooms feature flat-screen satellite TV, a minibar, and a safe. The large windows enable views of Amsterdam or the IJ river. The bathroom is fitted with a hairdryer and shower or bathtub. Branded complimentary toiletries are provided as well as free wifi throughout the hotel and city.
Guests can enjoy the breakfast buffet until 12 pm or enjoy breakfast in the room. There is lounge bar where we serve cocktails and bites and a restaurant with a view over the harbour and an outside terrace in the middle of the harbour, both decorated in cosmopolitan style.
Room Mate Aitana includes a business area and a fitness area. At the hotel's concierge desk services such as babysitting, concierge, bike and car rental can be organized.
Amsterdam Central Train Station is half a kilometre from the property and the Dam Square is within 1.6 km. The RAI Convention centre is a 15-minute car drive or 20 minutes by public transport.

    My opinion about this hotel Room Mate Aitana - EXCELLENT

    Lovely hotel, a little way from the centre but near to station.
    One comment ... the bar closes without notice. Every hotel I\'ve been in offers either an all night bar service or the barman comes around and gives you the chance for a last drink before closing - Please give notice to customers in future.
    Breakfast is superb although not sure its 18.50 Euros worth though.
    Wifi is excellent everywhere in the hotel and its FREE!
    Everything is spotlessly clean. Very comfortable pillows and beds
    Overall experience is EXCELLENT and we will be returning for another visit.

    Hotel is in very good location, 5 min walt time from central station. Room was really spacious, very nice view, brakfast was good, but not great. Clean hotel. Considering Amsterdam hotel prices, good value for money. Have to wait a long time for elevator during peak hours. Definetely could return there. :)

    Nothing. .A modern hotel from the Spanish chain which has only been opened a year. Good location in the business area on the dock and only a short walk to central station and direct trains to airport. We were on the 11th floor which had a great view over the city. We only ate breakfast there but offered a good choice. Staff friendly & polite. Whilst at breakfast a member of staff visited each table to check everything ok and what plans people had for the day and could she help with anything. She kindly offered to book a dinner reservation for us that evening at local restaurant and rang me to confirm. Would definitely recommend the hotel. Watch out for the cyclists! .

    Nothing.The location of the hotel is one of its best attributes. 10 min to the central station without being noisy at all. The rooms are spacious, modern while the bed is very comfortable. The personel is always available to assist with a very professional attitude. And all that at the best price compared to similar hotels.

    Food from room service was bad. .Close to station, friendly staff, clean good design room. .
