The Galeon hotel stands out for its ultra convenient location, its very hearty, fresh, and good breakfast, the quality of the bedding, and the excellent shower. The reception staff are courteous, the pool area is nicely decorated but a bit small and lacks music. Overall, it feels a bit dated.

Cleanliness, hairs on towels/in bath. Pool not that clean. .Wide selection of choice for breakfast, efficient check in/check out, good size room. Staff and customers very friendly.

Friendly staff, good location, nice pool, good size rooms with en-suite bathrooms. This hotel is an excellent find and well worth booking into - you won't be disappointed.

Not really a negative but worth knowing. Our room was in the annex across the road (from reception you pass the pool area through a gate and turn left and it's 40 metres away. DON'T TURN RIGHT as we did initially!!!). However, this small blip did not detract from our experience and enjoyable stay at Galeon. Also, a side benefit was that the hotel car park is under the annex.Breakfast is sensational. As always with buffet the hot food tends to be warm but all of us were amazed at the quality and selection. Well done! Another nice touch is the free afternoon tea and pastries available in reception area. People at the hotel were very friendly, helpful and professional. Our party had 3 double superior rooms. All of a very high standard and clean. My wife and I had a lovely large shower and no bath (just the job!). However, the other 2 rooms had baths with fixed shower screens and the openings were a little tight we understand (for the more generous among us). Brilliant and will be back for sure.
