Reviews of the Sbh Maxorata Resort hotel

I stayed at this same hotel five or six years ago. There is a noticeable decline in the services. The most notable issue is that during meals, which are somewhat repetitive, there are huge lines because some services, like beverage vending machines, are closed. There is total chaos in the dining area; it's a struggle to navigate and avoid having plates knocked over by people. Everything is highly improvable, but the lack of staff makes it impossible to expect better. Regarding the pools, they are somewhat dirty, with murky water, especially the larger one, which is even disgusting. There is no pool where one can swim peacefully; floaties, balls, and other items are allowed in all of them. Anything goes, and the lifeguards seem powerless when you ask because it’s the hotel’s orders. As for the sun loungers, it’s a lost cause; it was difficult to get one, you had to go to the farthest area of the hotel, and there was no response at reception. When you finally managed to get a lounger, you might have the bad luck of having a neighbor who smoked ????????, and you found yourself in a position of having to do something, but courtesy was absent, and those who should act didn’t. Thank goodness the beach is in front of the hotel. In short, it's not all about making money at any cost, gentlemen. I believe the hotel has lost its charm. Hire more staff and maintain a standard. My family will no longer be your clients.

The hotel was very good, the food was super good and varied. Overall, everything was great except for the entertainment; I didn't like it this time, except for the first night, which was Monday, and they put in a bit more effort then. Overall, very good.

From the very first minute, we were treated wonderfully... The reception staff get a ten out of ten... congratulations.

Good hotel with beautiful views of Jandia beach. The fabulous service from the staff, the very varied buffet, and the cleanliness of the facilities and rooms are excellent. Activities for both adults and children.

The hotel, the facilities, and the location were very good. The all-inclusive regarding drinks was very poor; we had never seen anything like this in any all-inclusive.

The Hotel is nice with good and bad points. Good points 1. The Beach is lovely but have to cross the main road and a 10 minutes walk 2. The staff are lovely. Specially Anta the room cleaner is lovely and honest. We had left our wallet by mistake in the room and the everything in it was intact when we returned to the room after our meal though the cleaning had happened. I really appreciate Anta's honesty and we did provide a little gift. But she deserves more. 3.Restaurent staff are lovely 4. Rooms have been renovated and clean. Bad points 1. The food is repetitive. The dessert selection is always the same. The eggs in the morning are premade and not made to order. 2. Apart from the buffet, all restaurants were closed. 3. The most disappointing was the pools not being heated. Though the weather was at 26 degrees, the pools were freezing cold and no one was able to get into the pool. 4. Though our room was supposed to be beach facing, we were on the -2 floor which meant three-quarter of it is covered by the building in front. 5. No water in the room. Overall, unfortunately wont be returning to this hotel.
