3.8Stay at Gran Garbi HotelErnestine - Sep 3, 2024We were surprised by the state of the hotel upon our arrival. Overall, our stay went well. The staff is attentive and pleasant. However, the hotel does not deserve a 4-star rating: You need to be very careful when booking; there are 4 Gran Garbi hotels close to each other and only 1 at the Aqua Park (Gran Garbi de Mar hotel). The reception is very small, and the air conditioning is very cold. Otherwise, you have to travel every day to access the water park, which is not large enough to accommodate so many vacationers, and there are not enough sun loungers for everyone. If you arrive after 11 AM, you have to sit on the ground with your towels, and we quickly end up on top of each other. The server at the water park bar is not pleasant, and the drink menu is outdated. (We never have what is on the menu due to supply issues), and he practically brushes us off. The rooms are not up to a 4-star standard; they have camp beds, and it feels like being in the army, the hotel is not aesthetically pleasing, the shower leaks, and there is no bath mat to prevent slipping. When we arrive, all we want is to leave quickly due to the cleanliness of the room. The rooms are small and outdated. Too expensive for what it is. We had to pay a very high surcharge, especially since we got a room that supposedly shouldn't have been occupied to move to the Gran Garbi de Mar hotel to be closer to the water park. The restaurant area looks like a canteen, also not aesthetically pleasing and noisy. However, the meals offered are varied. The drinks at breakfast are "disgusting"; you can't taste apple or orange juice, let alone pineapple. It's a disaster. The hotel's location is on the heights of Lloret de Mar, making it very difficult to access, and there are almost no free parking spaces nearby. The parking fees for the green spaces are exorbitant, 8 for 166 minutes, with no possibility to extend, which is inconvenient for going to the beach for half a day. We were lucky to get a free parking spot at the hotel the next day. The stay went well once we adapted to all these dysfunctions. It's a shame that the price is so high given the quality of the services.

4Stay at GRAN GARBI MAR DE LLORET DE MARNadine - May 20, 2024Hotel very well located close to shops and the beach. The rooms are pleasant, well-equipped, and very clean; the bedding is comfortable. The hotel is very quiet, and the staff is welcoming and friendly. The only downside is the dining. The buffet is too repetitive. The cooked dishes are bland, tasteless, and cold. I am aware that given the price of the stay, one cannot expect gourmet food, but as a regular guest at the hotel, this is really the first year I am very disappointed and go to the restaurant without any desire.
