Es una masía catalana del S XVI, situada en la parte más alta de Palau-saverdera, municipio de 1500 habitantes en el Alt Empordà. El nombre de Palau proviene de sus orígenes como villa roma o palatio y sa verdera al formar parte de la cordillera verde donde encontramos el Monasterio de Sant Pere de Rodes. Actualmente es conocido como “Balcón del Empordà” por sus magníficas vistas de Badia de Roses y de los humedales del Empordà.
