Reviews of the Bellevue Aquarius hotel

Everything is correct. It is true that some physical improvements need to be made (the pool is missing some tiles and the walls and furniture show their age) but overall it is fine. The bed and pillows seemed very comfortable to me and there is a lot of silence for sleeping. The buffet breakfast is very good for the price it has.

Apartment needs some new stove, some renovation. Very good animation! Recommended!

This was our 3rd time staying in the old town of Peurto del Carmen but our 1st time staying at this resort. Whilst I acknowledge that we were lucky enough to be given one of their best apartments with a view but in saying that it meant going up an awful lot of steps to get to it. Definitely not for the \'faint hearted\' We arrived at noon which was very hot. I was not really impressed with the receptionist as really it felt like a \'conveyor belt\'. No apologies were given for the lack of an elevator and nobody around to help either. We were just handed a map to navigate our way up and had to wade through the people so first impressions were not good. On my way up, I observed an elderly couple trying to do the same. Also, I felt sorry for families with buggies etc. Eventually on arriving at our apartment, my first impression was not great, though it was spacious & airie enough. It was very clear that it could do with a good up-grade, especially the kitchen/dining area + the curtains should be replaced. The bedroom is backed up onto a busy road so for light sleepers, it\'s not a good idea !! As the week went by, we just got on with it and tried to make the best of it. As I said above, it was very convenient and the views from our apartment were really great so I suppose that helped.....

The hotel is a bit tired but it does the job for location and value
