Reviews of the Laguna Park 2 hotel

We have been there several times and until now we had not complained about anything, but this time I have to say that the cleanliness in the pool area has been terrible... in the morning it was full of trash... the edges of the pool were full of band-aids... plastics... I did not see a pool attendant cleaning the bottom and adding chlorine like in other occasions, and we were there for 4 days.

I went away for a week with all-inclusive service with my partner and my 4-year-old daughter. As soon as we arrived, the sheets and towels were stained, and I won't even say with what. It took them two days to change them, even after requesting the change right away. The all-inclusive service is not worth it by the pool; just ham and cheese sandwiches and tuna! Vanilla ice cream, one per person. The water from the machines tastes like stagnant water. The rooms are very neglected... there were a lot of ants and cockroaches as well. The buffet was very repetitive; macaroni and spaghetti were served daily. They replenished the food in the same tray... so if there was fish and it ran out, they put chicken in the fish tray... disgusting! The drink machines were broken during lunchtime!!! Oh, and a child had an accident in the pool, and they closed it from 5 PM when it was 32 degrees... and they reopened it the next day at 12:30 PM... because they hadn't cleaned it.... very poor organization, cleanliness, and everything was very poorly managed in these apartments! I definitely will not return!

We were a bit scared because of some comments, but I can say that everything was very clean, all the employees were friendly and attentive without exception, we had a great time and we will repeat it.

The hotel has a very good location, just 5 minutes from the beaches and entertainment, and it is the most economical in the area. The parking is regular; sometimes you have to park on the same street and other times on the street in front, which means going down a dirt path that can be somewhat difficult. The hotel in general is quite spacious with good views. Its facilities need a bit more attention and care; there are some renovations needed, as it is from the 80s. The apartment is spacious, without decoration, which I didn't find necessary. The details are not taken care of; there is humidity with paint peeling in several areas and a smell, the bathroom has no window although it is very nice. I turned on the bathroom switch and every time the light was on, there was a motor sound that did not bring me peace. Most of the time, the towels and sheets were given to me with stains. There were cockroaches on the terrace and some inside. Cleaning could be improved. There are many stairs and ramps with a slope and no elevator. Some staff members didn't even greet. I would repeat due to its location and being the most economical in the area, and the apartment is acceptable, it just needs a lot of care. The entrance stairs to the apartment lack paint and maintenance, which gives a bad feeling upon entering.

For the price, I expected something like this; it's old, the facilities are poorly maintained, and the food had little variety, although it was good. All of this is acceptable; however, there is something very important that is why I wouldn't return: the pool water was freezing, colder than the sea, and this is a big problem if you go with small children.

Big problem with dishes served lukewarm. Plate warmer never plugged in. Juice dispenser doesn't work.

The best

On the days when the monitor is off, there are no activities, but they announce them anyway. The pool bar collects the food at 5, it should be open until 6 and provide the continuous service they claim to offer. It's impossible to sleep with that heat, there is no air conditioning, and that's inhumane. The pool has a worn-out color, it's a bit scary to see it. The disco bar... no comments. THE STAFF IS WONDERFUL!

Unfortunately, despite the good service and excellent dining with a buffet that pleasantly surprised me, the condition of the apartments leaves much to be desired, and the majority of guests spend the day drinking and shouting everywhere. If you are looking for tranquility and peace, this is not the most suitable accommodation, although the views of La Gomera and its sunsets are spectacular.

The service for both cleaning and dining was excellent; the only complaint that can be made is regarding the drinks during meals, the juices came out warm from the machine and there was no ice.
