The hotel is situated in beautifully landscaped private grounds approximately 13 km south of Edinburgh. Dalkeith Park and Dalkeith House, built in the 18th century, are around 9 km from the hotel. The city's airport is about 16 km away, and can be reached by car within 20 minutes.
