In the Belém region, Quake is a space that invites visitors to Lisbon for an immersive experience. This project is based on one of the city’s most remarkable historical events, the Lisbon Earthquake, taking visitors on a sensory and visual experience of what happened in 1755.

Walking in the Aqueduct
The Águas Livres Aqueduct is a well-known monument, but there are still relatively few people who venture to take the pedestrian walks allowed by the space.
This is a distinctive look at the city, which allows you to see some of the most important points of the capital, as well as its fabric, and the eclectic stretch that crosses the Alcântara Valley, between Campolide and Monsanto, promises to leave you breathless with its perspective of the city. Access to the Aqueduct is on the Calçada da Quintinha and possible between 10am and 5:30pm. The entrance fee is very economical, being only 2 euros for adults and 1 euro for seniors and students. Children up to the age of 12 have free admission.

The art of Bordalo II – with his animals made out of garbage – or of the graffiti artists PichiAvo make Lisbon an open-air museum that deserves to be highlighted.
The paintings on the buildings of the Calçada de Santa Apolónia are a good example of Lisbon’s hidden treasures. Also visit the LX Factory: an industrial complex in Alcântara, transformed into an ecological and creative space, where you can enjoy alternative and original concepts.
