As with the most visited and touristic cities in Spain, walking and strolling through them using only our legs is the best way to enjoy them. Seville is no exception, especially in its large old town and in the areas along the Guadalquivir River. But it is also true that, being such a big city, it is equipped with different means of transportation that will save you a lot of time and will help you rest when your feet can’t take it anymore: buses, subways, streetcars, cars, bicycles and even electric scooters.

The cards you need

Tourist transport card

It is the best option to move around Seville by bus without limits and for a fixed price. You can get a one-day card for €5 or a three-day card for €10, with a €1.50 deposit that is refunded when you return the card. It allows you to get on and off all city buses as many times as you want while the ticket is valid in the contracted mode.

Multi-trip card

It is a rechargeable card that makes each bus trip cheaper, since, having it, it will cost you 0,48 € and, making a transfer, 0,53 € (against 1,40 € of the price of the single ticket that costs the trip without this card).

Buses

Of all the transport network that covers Seville, the most complete is the urban bus network and it is the best way to move around the city when it comes to long journeys that you cannot or do not want to do on foot. The city has more than fifty bus lines, most of which are distributed radially, that is, from the center to the outskirts, with longitudinal lines and other circular lines identified with a C in their number. On certain holidays, especially during the Seville Fair, reinforcement vehicles are added due to the large number of people who need the service.
