One of the great jewels of the Spanish Mediterranean is called Valencia and its beaches offer the best of coastal life. They are ideal to enjoy the sun in spring and summer and with a pleasant climate for walks in autumn and even winter. And, of course, with the freshest fruits for the best rice and paella dishes eaten in Spain.

The life in the neighborhoods is another fundamental aspect to enjoy your vacation in Valencia and walk and stroll through all its colors, from the charming medieval old town in El Carmen to the more cultural and dynamic district of Ruzafa.

The most modern and impressive side is found in the City of Arts and Sciences, a unique space in the world full of museums, auditoriums, aquariums and other buildings that, in dialogue with each other, end up forming a small futuristic village where water and nature are the main motifs.

And the famous Fallas of Valencia, the festival that characterizes the city and for which thousands of tourists arrive every year, with lots of fire, giant dolls and celebrations of different kinds, just set up a perfect destination to visit throughout the year.

Best time to travel

The climate in Valencia, as in most of the territory facing the Mediterranean, is very mild and pleasant almost all year round. But the best time for sightseeing in the city is during the spring and summer, that is, from March to September. The weather in Valencia, in general, is usually humid and hot, with a temperate annual average temperature of around 18 °C and practically nonexistent extreme values. Mild winters, hot summers and scarce rainfall are the most constant features of Valencia’s climate.
