    Overall, I enjoyed my stay at GR Solaris. The facilities were beautiful, especially the pool area and the lobby. The standard room that I stayed in was clean and comfortable. It could have used some sprucing up on the decor. It was very plain. The beds were comfortable; the pillows were a little too plump for my liking.
    The only big complaint I have is the food and drinks were not satisfactory. The best thing I had to eat was the pizza at the outdoor eating area. The food at Marco Polo was not good at all. The mixed drinks were watered down and just not good.
    The staff was fabulous…very accommodating.

    Do not book this hotel! We arrived at 1 pm and they asked to wait until 3 pm, because the room was not ready. At 3 pm we stood online to check in, but they made us wait another 2 hours. We were starving and we start complaining and around 5 pm we found out, that they didn't have room for us. A lot of people were in the same situation. We requested our money back, but their response was to contact “Destinia” for refund, long story short. After fighting for our rights around 6 pm we were
    transferred to another hotel. It took us another our to check in and around 7pm finally we got the chance to eat. Horrible experience

    This was a bit basic in terms of food choices and the rooms were quite in need of an update. We arrived late and went for a swim and the pool is very poorly lit for evening swims. Also our corridor smelt very badly of a strong chemical smell - took your breath away when you opened the door. For a few nights it does the job but for any longer I think it's worth spending a little more and going somewhere less "cattle" like.The hotel whilst outdated was very clean and the staff were very attentive, in particular the waiters. They were excellent.
