What should I do if the car breaks down or if I am involved in an accident?
In case of break-down, accident, and/or mechanical difficulties, you should call the car hire company immediately. The rental company should authorise any repairs or provide you with a replacement car. Save a copy of all documentation that you need to fill out, as it may be helpful if you want to make a claim with your insurance. In case of an accident, you will be asked to provide a police report and an incident report written by the rental company.
